Northern Uganda Women’s Association for Human Rights (NUWAHR) is a grassroots, women-led, rights-based organization founded in 2016 by passionate young women committed to advancing justice, dignity, and inclusive development. Born from the urgent need to address the lasting impacts of the 20-year LRA conflict, NUWAHR works to restore hope, rebuild lives, and empower communities affected by trauma, inequality, and systemic marginalization.
